This is a FUNET service operated by CSC, the Finnish IT center for science located in Keilaranta 14, Espoo, Finland.
The local, non-mirrored, content is mainly maintained by finnish volunteers. More information is available in the README.FTP
It runs on a Solaris server with dual Quad-Core Nehalem EP processors and 72GB of memory and 20TB of SAN storage.
It has a 10Gbit/s connection to the Funet backbone. There may be short disruptions of service while we finetune the system.
