XDataSlice 2.3 January 1994
===========================

(1) New features and bugs corrections :
	- fix some memory leaks.
	- when using the palette editor, XDataSlice uses 2 Colormaps:
one for the dicer images and one for the other windows. So
now the palette editor is much more usable and I advice to
use it by setting the XDS.paletteEditor resource on in either
	  ~/XDS or ~/.Xresources
	- More communication support : xds can now be in a collage session,
-DTMIN and -DTMOUT option has been added.
If you want to join a session with the collage server running
on host hostname listening on port portnum, you can type:
	  xds -DTMOUT hostname:portnum
	- display data using %g format in the spreadsheet.

(2) ./doc contains documentation on the iso-surface and
	v-buffer volume rendering features.

(3) read the ./misc/XDS file :
it contains resources for XDataSlice that you can put in your
	~/.Xresources like XDS*paletteEditor:	True

(4) if you have comment or question about XDataSlice, mail to
softdev@ncsa.uiuc.edu. If you want to report a bug, mail
	to bugs@ncsa.uiuc.edu.
