A male of Stenoptilodes taprobanes was caught by sugar bait in SE Finland, Ka: Virolahti 671:53, during 4.10.1984 (T. & K. Nupponen leg.). The specimen was very probably carried with strong and warm southern air current, together with several other migrants.
