Welcome to PopGun, the TopGun of the popup stopper industry. We here at KL Products Software Division have worked hard day and night to bring you an effective and affordable solution to your popup problems.

Enjoy popup free surfing from now on. With many intelligent popup detection algorhythms, PopGun is second to none, when it comes to keeping your desktop free from unwanted and unscrupulous popup adverts.

PopGun is growing fast so to keep up with this, we have incorporated a live update function, which will keep the black-list (list of offending popups), up to scratch. POPGUN HELP (DEMO)

1. After you have downloaded the program to your Hard Drive, run winzip.

2. Double-click on the setup.exe file, this will start the Installation Wizard.

3. After the program has sucessfully installed, run the program PopGun. We recommend that you read all of the terms and conditions prior to using the program.

4. Now that the program has started for the first time, we will introduce you to some of the controls.

5. The Red icon at the Top Right corner will close the program. Remember that when you start the program again, you will have one less try. We suggest that you use your 100 tries efficiently. Try to keep the program loaded for around a day at a time. This will give you over 3 months of trial usage. Full Registration is only $5.

6. The logo, which is located at the Top Left corner, will open up a browser that takes you to our luxury website containing a wealth of products to choose from. Check this because it updates regularly.

7. The button will minimize the program, and only show it in the System Tray. This gives you optimum space to work with, while relaxing in your popup free environment. Click on the Tray Icon to restore to normal.

8. The Lamp will indicate whether you have your Sound Effects turned ON or OFF. It will shine brightly to indicate that the Sound Effects are indeed turned ON. Simply click on this to Toggle the setting ON and OFF alternately. The RED Lamp is to simply indicate that the program is ACTIVE and ON.

9. The `DESTROYED` label indicates how many popup`s have been rejected and closed, since your session began. Check future releases for the option to Log these values automatically to a TEXT file.

10. The `TRIALS` label is self explanitory!, however, remember to use up your trials efficiently. We do not demand a registration from you, and we want you to enjoy the valuable time you take to use this program.

11. Clicking on the button will transport you to our Popgun registration page. If you are a serious user of this program, you may want to consider this. The Benefits of registration include unlimited use with no restrictions. Registration is still only $5, it may rise soon, so hurry!

12a. IF there is a popup that you wish to allow pass the Popup Stopper, you may BYPASS the popup stopper by holding down the CTRL key, this will give permission to any popup to appear as normal. Use this if there is an advert that you do subsequently wish to view. Depress CTRL for normal operation.

12b. The button will open up the Control Panel. The Control Panel allows you to access a wide variety of settings and options, in which this help file is also included. Written below is the help topics for the Control Panel.

A) The `SOUND EFFECT` Group Box, contains all the necesary controls to allow you to select and test the Sound Effect of your choice. Click on the Yellow Folder button to Browse your Hard Drive for an alternate Sound Effect. Click on the Speaker Button to Test the sound and see if it is desirable to you.

B) The `VERSION INFO` Group Box, contains the Company and Author`s information. Use the email address here to send feedback about this program, including any bugs found, also suggestions and any comments. kevinlock777@hotmail.com

C) The `Enable Live Update` Checkbox, when Checked, will enable the program to access our server to update its Blacklist. And also update any bug fixes too. We highly recommend enabling this setting.

D) The `Help` Button is the page you are reading at the moment.

E) The `Cancel` Button will exit the Control Panel WITHOUT saving any changes that you made.

F) The `OK` Button will exit the Control Panel and SAVE the changes that you made.

POPGUN EXTRA INFORMATION

TIP: It can help, if you disable script debugging in `Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced`. This will help to prevent DEBUG windows from popping up as a result of script errors.

TIP: When browsing, if you are experiencing MAJOR popup problems, try using the keyboard to scroll the Explorer window, as PopGun makes allowances for popup windows that it thinks are a result of you clicking your left mouse button on a hyper-link.

PopGun may encounter difficulties if ran on a slow machine. A Pentium class computer running around 200Mhz+ should suffice. PopGun was BETA tested and found to run smoothly on a Pentium III, 667Mhz, with 256MB Ram.

NOTE: PopGun cannot always garantee the elimination of ALL popup windows all of the time. There are exceptions to be made. However, KL Products makes the greatest effort to improve the program`s performance for your enjoyment, we thank you for your patience.

PROPOSALS FOR THE NEXT VERSION

Speed controls to fine-tune the program`s operation to best fit your PC. This will alter the popup rejection reaction times, helping you only elliminate unwanted popups, and not elliminating the windows you DO wish to use.
