GNU Make 3.62 Compiled with gcc 2.2.2d
                 --------------------------------------

This is the binary and the patch for Gnu Make 3.62. This
version of make has been compiled with gcc 2.2.2d so it has the correct
readdr() function call and will work on the extended file system. This
binary has been linked statically, so there should be no external
dependencies. I compiled it under linux 0.97, but I assume it will run
under most of the 0.96 versions. Whether it will or not remains to be
seen.

To compile this yourself, you need the Gnu Make source,
available on ftp.gnu.ai.mit.edu, in /pub/gnu/make-3.62.tar, and the
enclosed patch. Just do a patch -p1 < make-patch and make. I did not
write this patch; it was posted to alt.os.linux by Simon Marlow some
time ago and it works fine.
