Once all the files are in the directory, do the following:
"make"

Make sure that the prolog called by your make file is Quintus Prolog.

Quintus Prolog will generate tons of warnings and error messages:
ignore all that. When it terminates, you will get a executable file
called "comp". This is your compiler. It works like a Unix pipe.
Try it. Then put it in some directory in your search path and rehash.

6/28:
The original code is from Van Roy.
The modifications have the string "herve" in them. Grep to see where they
are, if you are interested.
